Join us for a sumptious Pub Lunch at a The Wheelwright’s Arms, Davis Street, St. Nicholas Hurst, Reading RG10 0TR

Come and join your friends for a self-funded mid-day lunch in the pub.

The plan is to meet up in the Car-Park of the pub (free parking) ready for a country walk starting at 11:00. The walk will be quite easy going, planned by Wendy & Roger Gentle.

The pub opens at 12:00 and food is served until 14:30.

Join at 11:00 for the walk, or just come to the pub for lunch at 12:30.

We will update the following status box on the morning of the event, is inclement weather suggests a change of plan. Please check back here before you leave home.

The Walk is currently ON

We intend that there will be a choice of route, to keep everyone happy. If you can’t make the walk, just come for lunch!!!

The route(s) will be published nearer (or on) the day of the walk, which will be around part of Dinton Pastures Country Park. The layout offers at least 3 versions from very short to moderate and long.

After the walk, order your own food and drinks from the standard menu.

The walk is completely amateur. You join at your own risk. Please only attend if you’re fit and able to walk in the prevailing conditions.

• Bring substantial footwear (waterproof walking boots, or wellingtons with good walking tread).
• You may want to consider a change of clothing, in-case you fall over, or cover your trousers in mud, like I did on a test walk.
• Bring Walking Boots, and appropriate clothing.
