2025 Cherbourg Dash

An extended 4-day sailing event….we hope. The intention is to

• Sail across to Cherbourg, in-company, on Friday.
• Eat wonderful French Cuisine, and drink wonderful wine, for 2 days
• Return home on Monday.

Of course, anybody that’s done this before knows that this won’t happen!! The weather or the wind will be wrong, or something will break!

BUT this is the intention, so this is what we’re planning, and hoping for.

The reality is that we’ll work out a plan on Thursday evening, then that’s what will happen!

So, sign up for this event, in the expectation that it will be very fluid, but everyone will have a great time. The webform is below, and logged-in GXSA Members will have their details auto-completed, so there’s very little typing to be done.

• Skippers – Please confirm your boat and plans in the Comments field. Who will be in your crew? Do you plan any variation on the weekend? Let us know, to maximise inclusion.
• No Boat? – Let us know if you’d like to come along: Use the web-form. We can usually find a kindly skipper who can offer you a berth.
