Buckler’s Hard on the beautiful Beaulieu River.
We’re not an official rally, and skippers need to book (and pay) individually, in advance. When booking, mention that you need the Visitor Pontoon, and “The GXSA Group“.
TransEurope Marina berthholders get a discount (make sure to mention your membership number).
GXSA Regulars will know the proven format for the weekend:
- Find a friendly Skipper, with a boat
- Pontoon Party at 6pm, with usual nibbles and drink.
- If you’re still hungry, join us for dinner, around 7:30pm, in the Master Builder River View Restaurant. The menu will be confirmed near the time, but here’s a sample menu. We’re using their a la carte menu, so eat as little or as much as you like.
- The party continues until everyone’s exhausted
- Sunday morning sees a variety of potential activities. A walk into Bealuieu (2.5 miles each way), Coffee in the pub, explore Buckler’s Hard museum (discount for marina visitors). Take your pick.
- Departure for home around midday.
If you’d like to come along:
- Skippers – Book your berth with the marina (do this ASAP, to avoid disappointment), and register with GXSA, so we know to communicate with you)
- No Boat? – Let us know if you’d like to come along (register here). We can usually find a kindly skipper who can offer you a berth.
