Islands in the Sun
GXSA Life member John Apps completed another Jester challenge this summer, sailing single handed in Raven from the start at Tamar River Sailing Club to Newport, Rhode Island in 54 days. His was the second boat to arrive in Newport.
John will talk about some of the islands that he has enjoyed sailing to that will from time to time experience sunshine. Places like Bornholm, Rugen, Helgoland, Porto Santo and Rhode… He might even mention Thanet!
