GXSA Rally –  Island Harbour 15/16 September

 

The aim is to meet up reasonably early on Saturday afternoon at Island Harbour Marina, relax and start our usual social gathering at 5pm – Restaurant is booked for 7pm.

Please let me know numbers, boat names, crews and menu selections.

Saturday afternoon 

• Island Harbour arrive @2pm onwards
• Marina HM ‘Darren’ on CH80 has berths reserved for us
• HW is 15.44 / access approx 2 hours earlier. (HW Cowes 15.17 BST   4.0m)
• Pontoon party starts @5.00pm
• 7pm – Evening 3 course dinner at Breeze restaurant.

Sunday morning

• Walk starting 10.30am
• Coffee back at the boats 12.30
• Departure @ 2.30pm.  HW 16.23   (HW Cowes 16.00 BST 3.8m)

Menu selection

S1 – Homemade soup of the day – Served with a choice of white or brown crusty bread

S2 – Bruschetta – Tomato, basil mozzarella bruschetta – balsamic 

S3 – Garlic Mushrooms –  Pan fried garlic butter with cream, toasted ciabatta

 

M1 – Isle of Wight sausages – creamy mashed potato, petit pois and onion gravy

M2 – Homemade Vegetable curry – Served with rice and mango chutney

M3 – Homemade chilli con carne – Basmati rice, soured cream and tortilla chips

M4 – Roasted plaice fillet – Creamy lemon dill sauce, new potatoes, fresh veg.

 

D1 – Homemade apple crumble & custard Mixed – with sultanas, cinnamon & hot custard

D2 – Homemade citrus cheesecake

D3 – 2 scoops of ice cream
