Pontoon Party

Essential Elements of a Pontoon Party

Good Weather, or enough boats with cover, in case of inclement weather
Ensure that we have enough largish boats alongside the pontoon, to get people aboard, or alongside the pontoon.
I the past, we’ve used a picnic table for nibbles, etc., but we’ve also used the side-deck of an alongside boat (in fact, the side-deck works best, and doesn’t require somebody to bring a picnic table)

Beverages
  • Wine – Allow 2/3 of a bottle per head – minimum £5 per bottle
  • Red Wine 1/3 (30%)
  • White Wine 2/3 (60%) – try Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc
  • Lager
  • Beer
  • Nibbles
