What’s Happening

Every Solent Sailor knows Cowes! A place buzzing with yottie expectation.

This rally is being organised by our friends at Yateley Offshore Sailing Club, and you’re invited to attend.

Mooring

We’re meeting up at Shepards Marina on the River Medina. Skippers need to book your boat in at the marina office (tel: 01983 297821), mentioning Yateley. As it’s a Bank Holiday weekend, you will need to book early, so please do so now !!

We understand that Cowes Yacht Haven is already full. Book NOW if you want to attend. If Shepards Marina get’s full you’re welcome to join us for the evening, if you can find a berth elsewhere.

Eating

Dinner on Saturday night will be at one of our favourite venues, The Red Duster; an Excellent menu, Great food, Friendly service, and (very) Generous servings.

We will use the a la carte menu, so no need to pre-order food (but that may change….we’ll keep you informed).

But, please do remember to book using the form below, so we can keep The Red Duster informed about the number of customers.

Pontoon Party

The Yateley Style Pontoon Party will be a BYOB and Nibbles Event; more details to follow.

Money

No pre-payment is required, so just bring yourself and a full wallet!!

Booking

Please use the booking form below, so that we know who’s coming, and we can keep both the Restaurant and You informed about timescales, and anything else that’s going on. Remember that it’s a Bank Holiday weekend, so there will probably be some Sunday and Monday activities to engage with.

Deadlines

The deadline for booking is 09:30 Wednedsay 29th April, but Cowes is likely to be busy. BOOK EARLY!

Make sure to indicate the total number of people in your crew, so we can allocate Restaurant places effectively.

• Skippers – Please confirm your boat and plans by email. Who will be in your crew? Do you intend to join us Friday evening? Any other plans.
• No Boat? – Let us know if you’d like to come along: Use the web-form. We can usually find a kindly skipper who can offer you a berth.
