Join us for a sumptious Pub Lunch at The Crown Inn, Penn, Buckinghamshire on February 20th.

So, come and join your friends for a self-funded mid-day lunch in the pub.

The plan is to meet up in the Car-Park of the Crown ready for a country walk starting at 11:00. The walk will be quite easy going, planned by local resident, Stuart Gaunt.

The Walk is ON, starting in the lower car park behind the pub.

I’ve designed 3 walks of different length and starting times. Click here, to see the map.

Choose which you would like to attend:

1. Long Walk – Yellow on the map, 5km/3 miles. Led by Stuart. Approx 1.5 hours, starting 11:00am
2. Easy Route – Blue on the map, 3.3km/2 miles (50% on tarmac or stoney track). Self guided. Approx 1 hour, starting 11:30am
3. Short Walk – Orange on the map, 1.74km/1 mile. Self guided. Approx 30 minutes, starting 12:00pm.
4. No Walk – Just turn up at the Crown @ 12:30.

GXSA has reserved an area in the pub, down 3 steps to your right as you enter the front door of the pub.

Order your own food and drinks from the standard menu.

The walk is completely amateur. You join at your own risk. Please only attend if you’re fit and able to walk in the prevailing conditions.

• Walking conditions are currently quite muddy and slippery underfoot, in places.
• Bring substantial footwear (waterproof walking boots, or wellingtons with good walking tread).
• You may want to consider a change of clothing, in-case you fall over, or cover your trousers in mud, like I did on a test walk, today.
• Bring Walking Boots, and appropriate clothing.
